Arthur Barry Henry

Arthur, also known as Barry (or “B”), graduated from Woodbridge High School in 1992 where he played both basketball and football. Although skilled at both sports, he loved football the most, and he played the game with passion. As a result of his dominance on the football field, Woodbridge High School named Barry their 1991 Varsity Football Defensive Player of the Year. After High School, Barry continued his education at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. Barry graduated from Rutgers University in 1996 earning a bachelor’s degree in political science. After college, Barry began working at Cablevision where he held various positions requiring increasing levels of responsibility. However, Barry always wanted to help other people so he decided to make a career change that would allow him to do just that. He transitioned into the financial service sector where, as a financial planner, he was able to help and guide countless numbers of people and families to prepare for their financial futures. He was a lifelong learner and a student of his profession; always trying to educate and better himself to help others more. In 2001, his view of the world and life changed when he met his true love Nataschja. They fell in love and got married in the Netherlands in 2004. Barry loved being in the Netherlands, but they decided to start their family in the United States and planned to later move to Holland. In 2003 they purchased a home in Piscataway, NJ, and together they had two beautiful sons, Shane and Evan Henry. First as a couple, and then later as a family, the Henrys enjoyed taking trips and discovering new places. They also enjoyed staying home and playing board games together. In the Henry household, winning the “monopoly championship title” was an ongoing battle between Barry and his sons for years. For those who knew Barry best, you know that besides his family, he loved sports, rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and playing cards, especially spades and poker. He joined several poker leagues and spent many nights perfecting his poker-playing skills. In fact, one of his dreams was to one day play at one of the big national poker tournaments in Las Vegas. Arthur shared his joy for life with everyone he met, and he will be remembered as the man who brought a smile to many faces. Barry leaves behind his wife, Nataschja Henry, sons Shane and Evan Henry, and a host of other loving family members.
