Carol Ann Tucker

Carol Ann Tucker did her job here; she has a new place to live now, and the address is heaven. The only way to get there is through the Father. If you want to see her again, you best get your stuff together! Carol was 72 when she got her new keys, on October 17, 2022. That night she sent me a message. It rained like a flood. Aunt D said, “…this is not rain as you know it, these are tears of joy, no more pain. “Great job everyone, my journey through the storm is over and my new place is nice, me and HGTV have been working on it for years; can’ wait for all to see.” Carol was born on January 15, 1950, in Dillon, South Carolina and she peacefully took her wings on the morning of October 17, 2022. Her family moved north to Trenton, NJ where she was educated in the Trenton Public School System and graduated from Trenton Central High School. From there she went to work for the State of New Jersey retiring October 1, 2004, with more than 30 years of service finishing her career in the Office of the Public Defender. Carol lived life to the end and left no stone unturned. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was the spark at every event and the light in any room. She loved bingo and later the Parx Casino, where she made quite a few friends and almost as many strokes of good luck. Some of her other favorite things were cooking for her family, getting dressed up, traveling, watching HGTV, getting her hair done and telling you off IF you got on her nerves. She was always real, but she was balanced and she above all, loved the Lord, attending Sunday services and talking about her grandchildren. Carol is predeceased by her parents, John Wesley and Christine Manning; and daughter Roslyn. Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Stanley Tucker Jr. (Jocelyn) and Kyle James Tucker (Kenya); two brothers, John Wesley Manning, Jr. and Charles Manning; her grandchildren, Jaelyn Louree Tucker, Jamar Wesley Tucker, Kyle D. Tucker, Keyan Jordan Tucker, and Jaaron Bryant; adopted grandson, Bayquan D. Turner; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, family members and special friends. Services will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Macedonia Baptist Church, 1300 Greenwood Avenue, Trenton. The viewing will begin at 10am, followed by the funeral at 11am. Pastor Keith Marshall will officiate under the direction of Anderson Funeral Service.
