Charles E. Robinson, Jr. was born on October 24, 1953 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Charles E. Robinson, Sr. and Betty Jean Bartee Robinson. He departed this life on October 8, 2021 at Cooper Medical Center in Camden, NJ. Charles moved to Trenton, NJ 34 years ago. He was employed at Lenox China as an Accountant for 25 years. Family members and friends who collected Lenox pieces always looked forward to Christmas and the Lenox gifts from Charles. Charles had a delightful personality that embodied both seriousness and fun. He was intense and focused, and deeply concerned about voting rights, global warming, environmental pollution and other social, political and justice issues. He was extremely knowledgeable about government and knew the names, voting records and political positions of most senators and congress people on the federal and local government levels. Charles also had a great sense of humor and enjoyed having a good time, rarely saying no to attending a party or hanging out with good friends. Charles enjoyed traveling, and he and his good friend, James E. White III, traveled extensively both in the United States and abroad. They visited more than a third of the US states. They also visited many countries, including Canada, the United Kingdom, Puerto Rico, Mexico, France and Italy. For 44 years Charles was an extended family member in the White-Smith-Johnson family triad. Family gatherings were always a little more special when Charles was there. Charles is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Betty Jean Robinson, Sr., and his sister, Nathali Robinson Stephenson. Charles leaves to cherish his memory his niece, Veronica Robinson of Trenton, NJ; two cousins, Linda Brown and Kim Robinson, both of Indianapolis, Indiana; his aunt, Delores Marie Bartee of Hayward, California; and two special friends, James E.
