Charline Lenora Foendoe

Charline Lenora Foendoe was born on November 2, 1959 in New Brunswick, NJ at Middlesex General Hospital now known as Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. She departed this life on Thursday April 8, 2021 at the age of 61. Charline was educated in the Franklin Township School System graduating from Franklin High School in 1978. She was affectionately known by the nickname MA-DUKES. Throughout her lifetime, Charline held various jobs to help take care of her family. Charline was a loving mom and grandma who truly loved her family and many more, whomever came to her home for a visit, you were considered family to her. She was a strong community activist always willing to lend her support and love wherever it was needed, including volunteering her services to the families in need throughout the Township of Franklin. Charline was an advocate for the Parkside Community including herself in many programs such as the Parkside Steppers Drill Team in which they traveled many places to compete in competitions, and bring home trophies for their hard work, in which she was so proud to be a part. Charline loved gardening, when you visited her home, you would be greeted by lovely flowers, vegetables and herbs. Before you left her home, she would send you on your way with items from her beautiful garden. Charline loved crocheting blankets for her children and grandchildren. As a photographer while working at Studio One in New Brunswick, New Jersey owned by Alvin Fair, she loved taking graduation pictures, prom pictures and nature in her travels. Charline was a very talented and intelligent young woman with a big smile that would light up any room. She will be truly missed by all. Charline was predeceased by her brother Jerome Foendoe and her son Terrance “Terry” Foendoe. Left to cherish her memory are her mother Marie Foendoe Hagood, her daughter Lillian M. Prescott and her future son-in-law Jamarr White, and son Curtis L. Prescott and their siblings William and Tia Barron. Her brother Richard A. Foendoe (Ernestine) of Jersey City, NJ and her sister Damita E.
