Daniel Edwin Bush Sr.

Daniel Edwin Bush, Sr., 62, was born August 5, 1960, at St. Peter’s Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He is the third of five children born to Nellie Walker Bush and George Bush. Daniel, affectionately known as Danny by his family and friends quietly and very peacefully transitioned into eternal rest surrounded by his siblings on Thursday evening, April 27, 2023, at Robert Wood Johnson hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. In 1961, the Bush family moved to Highland Park, NJ where Danny grew up and would attend Highland Park Elementary & Middle Schools. For High School Danny attended New Brunswick Vocational Technical School, where he studied Electronic Trades. Danny was baptized at an early age at First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens. Growing up Danny actively attended First Baptist, where he served as a Jr. Deacon, attended Sunday School, and participated in the Youth Choir. It was at First Baptist, where Danny met his childhood sweetheart Diane Emily Watson. They would later marry and become parents to Daniel Edwin and Jasmine Dominique. In 1979, Danny was accepted in IBEW LOCAL 456 and remained an employee until his retirement in October 2020. Danny was a very skilled Electrician. As an adult Danny followed his own path. He lived life and enjoyed spending time with his siblings and other activities with family. Danny’s sibling describes him as fun-loving, easy-going, and always willing to help someone. In 1992, Danny lost his beloved Diane. Her passing left a “forever” scar in his heart, one that never healed. Though their hearts are broken on earth, Danny’s children are at peace knowing that their parents are back together once again. Celebrating Danny’s life and cherishing his memory are his parents; George and Nellie Bush, Highland Park NJ; one son Edwin, Jacksonville, Florida; one daughter Jasmin, Somerset, NJ, two brothers; George Byran Bush, New Brunswick, NJ, Charles Bush (Shelia) Franklin Park, NJ, two sisters; Martha Williams (Anthony) Burlington, NJ, Yvette Bush Highland Park, NJ; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and co-workers. Danny’s days of trouble and pain are over and there is no more sickness and suffering. We can lift our hands and shout, “All Praises to God, he’s at peace.” Lovingly submitted. The Family
