Domitilo “Lilin” Cruz, 62 yrs old, passed away at 1:44 am, Tuesday, March 19, 2019 in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Lilin was born August 28, 1956 in Pinar del Rio, Cuba. He was a hardworking entrepreneur who, with the help of his family, owned and operated a trucking business in New Jersey since 1986. He was a lifelong member and devout contributor to the Seventh Day Adventist church since his youth. He is survived by his wife, Cecilia and his children, Keila, Aniel, Michael, Giannella and Nathanael; his grandchildren Sofia, Annabelle and Annelise; his stepmother Joaquina Cruz, his nieces Yania and Yunaisy, and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and his many brothers and sisters in Christ. Lilin was a loving husband, proud father, and affectionate grandfather. A grand storyteller always ready to step in and make others laugh. He loved to make women of all ages light up with his compliments on their beauty, never discriminating age, shape, or driving record. An enthusiastic donor of hugs for every occasion regardless of gender. He wanted everyone to feel loved and beautiful when he saw them if only for that moment. He was a hard worker who never knew when to quit. A generous provider to his family and anonymous benefactor to many worthy causes, near and far. He was caring, loving and dedicated to serving others and will be greatly missed. He clinged to the hope that our time on this earth is but a snapshot on our journey to eternal life with our saviour, and lived by the guidance of Psalm 73:24-26. “You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny. Whom have I in heaven but you? I desire you more than everything on earth. My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever.” Funeral Services will be held at Edison Spanish Seventh Day Adventist Church 2195 Woodbridge Ave, Edison NJ 08817 Saturday, March 23, 2019, 5 PM to 9 PM. Fue un negociante que trabajó incansablemente, con la ayuda de su familia, para levantar y mantener un negocio de camiones desde 1986 hasta el momento de su muerte. Lilin fue un miembro devoto y contribuidor de la Iglesia Adventista del Septimo Dia desde su temprana edad. Le sobreviven su esposa Cecilia y sus hijos Keila, Aniel, Michael, Giannella y Nathanael, sus nietas Sofía, Annabelle y Annelise, su madrastra Joaquina Cruz, sus sobrinas Yania y Yunaisy, numerosos tios, tias, primos y sus innumerables hermanos y hermanas en Cristo. Lilin fue un esposo amoroso, orgulloso padre y abuelo cariñoso. Un contador excepcional de historias, siempre listo para tomar la palabra y hacer reír a los demás. Le fascinaba levantarle el ánimo con sus piropos a todas las mujeres sin discriminar edad, forma o historial de conducción. Fue un donante entusiasta de abrazos para cada ocasión y todos los sexos. El quería hacer sentir bien a todos cuando los veía, aunque fuera solo por un momento. Si Lilin hubiera vivido en tiempos de Jesús, hoy lo conoceríamos como el discípulo del amor a voces. Fue un hombre que nunca paraba. Un proveedor generoso para su familia y un benefactor anónimo de muchas causas dignas, locales y distantes. Fue amoroso, amable y dedicado a servir a otros. Se le extrañará profundamente. Siempre mantuvo la convicción de que nuestro tiempo en la tierra es solo una ventanita de tiempo en nuestra jornada hacia la vida eterna con nuestro Salvador. Vivió siempre bajo la tutela del Salmo 73:24-26. “ Me has guiado según tu consejo, Y después me recibirás en gloria. ¿A quién tengo yo en los cielos sino a ti? Y fuera de ti nada deseo en la tierra.
