Frank Jordan, Jr

Frank "Franky J" Jordan was born in Quincy, Fla. to the the late Lillie Thomas and Frank Jordon, Sr. His early education was in the Gadsden County School System. At an early age, Frank moved to Gifford, Indian River County, Florida, where he graduated from Gifford High School class of 1965. After graduating from high school Frank was drafted into the United States Army where he was a member of the 1st Calvary Division (Airmobile.) Frank served in the vietnam War from December 1967 to December 1968. Frank's calvary had the honor of being awarded the Presidential Unit Citation for "First division to receive the Presidential Unit Citation in Vietnam". In 1969 after honorably completing his services in the United States Army, Frank remained in New Jersey to begin his career as a United States Postal Worker. Frank retired in 2003 from the Kilmer Post Office in Edison, NJ after 38 years of dedicated service. Frank leaves to mourn and cherish his memories four loving daughters, Sonia Calhoun (Corondo), Neshanta Jordan, Deandra Jordan, and Artresha Jordan, one sister Lucille Jordan-Brown, one brother Eddie Jordan, Sr. (Patricia), fifteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Lillie Bea Thomas and Frank Jordan, Sr. his maternal grandparents, Anna and Zema Thomas, one brother, Carl Thomas, one nephew, Eddie Jordan, Jr. and his great grandson, Baby Eric J, Yant III. _____________________________________________________________________ Anderson Funeral Service is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
