Jamil R Reddice

Jamil R. Reddice, 50, of Trenton, NJ died March 30, 2025. Services were held Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Anderson Funeral Service, 201 Sandford Street, New Brunswick, NJ. Jamil Rashee Reddice affectionately known as Power J or "Pain" was born on August 1, 1974, in New Brunswick, NJ to Evita and Theodore Reddice, Sr. He was educated in the New Brunswick Public Schools System. Jamil loved to dance, write poetry, sing and make others laugh. His family meant everything to him. Power J had the biggest heart and above anything else would give you his last if you needed it. He passed away March 29th 2025 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick lovingly and peacefully surrounded by his parents, children, siblings, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Alice and Jessie Mayo and his paternal grandparents Viola and Daniel Reddice. Uncles William Mayo, Clyde Beck, William, Walter, Roger, Daniel, James, and Charles Reddice. First cousins Tyrone, Loretta, Mona, and Curtis; three nephews, Yavore, Dasani and Breyshon. Jamil leaves to cherish his memory and legacy his mother and father Evita and Theodore Reddice Sr. ; two brothers, Theodore Jr (Righteous) and Ahmad (Modie) Reddice; three sisters, Takeisha (Keisha) and Danaisha (Poodie) Reddice and Dateisha (Tete) Jordan; and a very close cousin who is like a little brother Raashan Paige-Reddice. His children, Shaquanna Harris, Jamil Walker, Jermaine Hollins, Jahneeva Reddice, Jahmecca Jarvis and Mal'asia Jennings. Beautiful grandchildren, Nakya, Sarenity, Nova, Kah'miya, Majesty, Grace, Nyla, Shiyon and Na'sai. Aunts Theresa lnhabinet, Brenda "Faye" Gardner (Eddie), Louise Mayo and Louise Brown (Johnny); uncles, Ronnie Spruill and Rick Wallace; a special friend, Ramona Walker; and a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, cousins, and loved ones. He really will be missed by all of those who loved him. May his spirit find freedom resting in peace amongst the spirits of his ancestors and loved ones who have gone before him. We love you Power J. Burial at Fountain lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Trenton NJ.
