Patrick Nash

Patrick J. Nash, son of the late Alberta Nash, was born March 17, 1964, in the City of New Brunswick, New Jersey. He was educated in the public and private schools in New Brunswick. Even though he was born in the city, he loved spending time in Duck Hill, Mississippi and lived there with family before moving back to New Jersey. Patrick was a self-employed handy man for many years. He did excellent painting work. He was certified to operate a forklift and worked for Pressman Toys warehouse for a period. He recently obtained his certifications in Adult and Child CPR, Forklift Safety, and Firefighter Rehab Operations. Patrick loved fishing, enjoyed riding his bike, and listening to music. He was a fan of older music and quartet gospel. He was very skilled at poetic writing and artistic as well. Patrick loved his family. In his own writing, Patrick stated that his grandchildren were his inspiration, and he was very proud of his children. Patrick was preceded in death by his mother, Alberta Nash; grandparents Daisy and Joe Nash; uncles, William Nash, Sr., John Topps, Sr., Joe Nash, Jr., Ulysses Nash, Floyd Topps, Sr., Leroy Nash; aunts Dorothy Nash, Betty McNeil, and Kate Spencer. Patrick leaves to cherish his memories a son; Reddrick Robinson, Sr. of Somerset, NJ; a daughter; Keyana Nash of Somerset, NJ; 6 beautiful grandchildren, Cheyann, Keyon, Reddrick Jr., Trinity, Israel, and Judah; sister Lolita McPhatter (Keith); two nieces, Jasmin McPhatter and Jocelyn Watkins (Ron), great-nephew Seven Watkins; aunt Sally Nash of Highland Park, NJ; cousin Floyd Topps Jr. of Duck Hill, MS, close ‘brother’ cousin Bernard Nash of Duck Hill, MS; and many close cousins, extended family, friends, and loved ones.
