Annie Laura Lee Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Ms. Annie Laura Lee Alexander affectionately known as “Aunt Laura”, “Aunt Tootie”, and “Tootie” transitioned at her home Sunday, February 14, 2021. Annie Laura was born to the late Reverend Edmund Alexander and Annabelle Simpson on October 29, 1931. Annie Laura lived in Roebling, New Jersey, received her education through the Roebling Public School System and later became a long time resident of Florence New Jersey. She was a member of Union Baptist Church in Bordentown N.J, but later joined Grace Cathedral Fellowship Ministries in Trenton, N.J in 1982 where she was a dedicated Usher, Deaconess, Church Mother and an avid Sunday School member. Annie Laura was employed by General Motors in Ewing N.J for 43 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grand-children and great grand-children by seeing them play sports, attending every birthday party, and in her leisure she loved watching the soap opera “General Hospital” while reading her newspaper. Annie Laura was loved by many family members and friends and will be truly missed. She is predeceased by her brother Deacon Augustus Alexander of Bordentown N.J, William Alexander of Roebling N.J., James Alexander of Roebling, N.J., her sister Lucille Vaughn of Newark, N.J., and her loving son, John Lee. She leaves to cherish her memory, one sister, Alice Murphy (Robert), three children, Sylvia Carthan and twins Gay Cobbs (Peter), and Don Lee. She has eleven grand-children, twenty-eight great grand-children, and one great, great grand-child, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends. ************************************************************************ Livestream Information ************************************************************************ The livestream of the funeral will be Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 10am via www.gcathedral.org.
