Clifford Talbert Jr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Clifford Talbert, Jr. was born August 2, 1943 to the late Clifford Sr. and Anna Mae Barnes-Talbert. He departed this life on January 15, 2021 at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, NJ. Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, Clifford was educated in Trenton’s Historical Parochial School Our Lady Divine Shepherd from K-8th grade. He then continued his high school education at Trenton Central High School, where he participated in swimming and other sports. Clifford was a fundamental part of the “Trenton Makes the World Takes” industrial workforce. He held various positions at Trenton Pottery and Crane until he received his Black Seal license from the State of New Jersey. Upon receipt, he gained employment at the Trenton Board of Education for several years, where he achieved the position of Head Custodian. After leaving the Trenton Board, he was employed by Rider University until retirement. Clifford liked and owned many dogs often adopting from the Trenton Animal Shelter. He enjoyed hunting and fishing often recalling of his favorite moments from his many trips. Clifford was a very fun, loving and positive person. He was very comical but also very supportive. He was an outstanding father, husband, grandfather, and friend. His memories will live in the hearts of those who loved him. In addition to his parents, Clifford was predeceased by one brother, James Talbert; two brothers-in-law, Willie Henderson and Larry Glover; and one sister-in-law, Joann Mason. Left to cherish his memories: his wife and best friend, Vera Talbert; his children, Darrin (Monica) Talbert, Nicolas (Amanda) Talbert, Kenneth Talbert, and Paige Talbert; his grandchildren Paige A. Loyd and Pia L. Talbert Moore (whom lived with him), Morgan, Madison, Blake, Justin, Nicole and Maxwell; one brother, Robert (Diane) Talbert; three sisters-in-law, Edith Henderson, Brenda (Willie) Pittman, and Lottie Glover; and a host of other grandchildren, relatives and friends.
