Velma Celestine Moten, the second of four children of the late James, Sr. and Louise Beasley was born on March 3, 1943 in Norfolk, VA. Velma was a God fearing women. She was dedicated to the service of the Lord. She used her teaching to help reach those in need. Velma will be received at the pearly gates by those that went before her. Her loving husband Bobby, her parents James, Sr. and Louise, brother James, Jr. and mother in-law Mary Moten. She leaves to cherish her memories and carry on the lesson she taught; three sons and three daughter in-laws, Raymond (Carolyn) of Orlando, Fl., Reginald (Cynthia) of Milwaukee, WI and Bobby, Jr. (Artritess) of Piscataway, NJ; grandchildren Duron, Derell, Aniyah, Stefonn, Terrell and Elijah; great grandchildren, Ariyonna, Sa'miy, Diamond and Duron,Jr. sisters and brother in-law Florence Spence (Gary) of New York and Joyce Beasley of New Jersey, in-laws William Moten (Catherine) of Arizona, Michael Moten (Amanda) of Virginia and Alice Beasley of Nevada along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and the many beloved friends she met along her life's journey. __________________________________________________________________________ Anderson Funeral Service is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
