Walter Benjamin Morris, Jr., a lifetime resident of New Brunswick, NJ, died July 24, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, New Brunswick. Known to many as Walter BB, Thunder or Uncle Walt. A retired Plumber for Rutgers University, New Brunswick. He was formerly a construction worker employed by Labors Local 156 and 594 for many years. He also worked for Thomas Oil Company in New Brunswick. A long time member of St. Albans Episcopal Church, New Brunswick. He was a member of the Local 156 Retiree Council. A member of Progressive Lodge No. 17 F&AM, New Brunswick. Predeceased by his parents, Walter B. and Francis P. Way-Morris, Sr. and a sister, Barbara D. Bell. Left to cherish his memory are 2 sons, Geoffrey S. Bennett of Piscataway and Mark C. Morris of Sayreville, daughter in-law, Mellissa Burrows Bennett, 2 grandchildren, Jasmin and Alexis, Godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. Walk through viewing is Wednesday, August 5, 2020 from 10am to 11:30am at Anderson Funeral Service, 201 Sandford St., New Brunswick.
